How karakamsa analysis is used
Classical texts read three things from the Karakamsa: talents and vocation (planets conjunct or aspecting it), spiritual path (the 12th from it — the house of moksha counted from the soul's seat), and the devata whose upasana suits the native. It complements, never replaces, the rashi-chart reading — think of it as the soul's annex to the main chart.
Because it depends on the navamsa, the Karakamsa is sensitive to birth-time accuracy: each navamsa spans only 3°20′, so a 15–20 minute error can move it. If your Atmakaraka sits near a navamsa boundary, treat the neighbouring reading as possible.
