💑 Marriage Muhurat · विवाह
Every date below is screened live by our engine against the classical vivah nakshatras, favourable weekdays and clear tithis. Use it to shortlist — then have your priest fix the exact lagna window.
About the marriage muhurat
A vivah (marriage) muhurat is traditionally chosen in layers: first the panchang screens the DAY — the Moon in a marriage-friendly nakshatra, a favourable vara (weekday) and a tithi that is not rikta or amavasya — and then a priest fixes the exact lagna (rising-sign window) for the ceremony itself.
This page does the first layer for you, continuously: it scores every one of the next 90 days and lists the dates that clear all three checks (shubh) and those that clear two (acceptable). For the final word on a wedding — the most important muhurat a family ever fixes — always confirm the lagna with your purohit.

How these dates are chosen
Each day is screened on the three classical panchang limbs: the Moon's nakshatra must be on the marriage list below, the vara (weekday) must be favourable for the activity, and the tithi must be clear — not rikta (4th, 9th, 14th of either paksha) and not amavasya. Dates clearing all three are shubh; two of three, acceptable.

This is day-level panchang screening — the same first pass a priest does. It does not fix the hour (lagna/choghadiya), weigh your personal chart, or apply regional month rules. For a ceremony, confirm the final window with your purohit; for a chart-personalised list, use the ₹199 report.
The muhurat report adds your personal Tara-bala and Chandra-bala screens on top of the panchang, grades every date, and arrives as a printable PDF.

Which nakshatras are good for marriage?
The classical vivah nakshatras are listed on this page — Rohini, Mrigashira, Magha, the two Uttaras, Hasta, Swati, Anuradha, Mula, Uttara Bhadrapada and Revati. The engine checks the Moon's nakshatra for every date against exactly this list.
Can we marry on a date that is not listed?
A missing date simply failed one of the three day-level screens. Families sometimes proceed with a priest-fixed lagna that compensates — that is a judgment for your purohit, not a rule this page can make.
Is a shubh date here enough to fix the wedding?
It is enough to shortlist. The full tradition also weighs the couple's charts (especially Venus and Jupiter strength), the month, and the exact lagna hour — which is what our ₹199 muhurat report and your family priest are for.
When is the next marriage muhurat?
The next shubh dates are 20 Aug, 4 Sept, 17 Sept — see the full 90-day table above, which updates continuously.
